Host your party or event at our beautiful park!

The park is home to many facilities that can be rented for event space. Reservations for the Main Building and 4-H Barn are taken up to one (1) year in advance, while reservations for Shelters are taken beginning the first working day of January of the year and may be reserved for that calendar year only on a first come first serve basis. Reservations for Pool Parties are taken beginning April 1st of the year in which the reservation is being made.

Church groups and non-profits (based in Doddridge County) and the Doddridge County Board of Education may reserve any facility at no charge.

Pool

Make your next party a hit by hosting at the DCP pool and splash pad!

Reservations for pool parties are taken beginning April 1st of the year in which the reservation is being made.

The Pool can host up to 200 people daily. The aquatic area contains three play areas. The Main Pool includes nearly 4000 square feet of surface area, contains nearly 250,000 gallons of water and provides two diving boards for your enjoyment. The Kiddie Pool is a tear dropped shaped pool with a beach type entry and has fun play structures and water features for the young kids. The Splash Pad is a nearly 2000 square foot area with many fun water features and a large slide for kids up to middle school to enjoy.

4-H Barn

A unique venue for rustic weddings, auctions or animal shows.

The park’s 4-H barn is a large venue that can accommodate a variety of event types. With seating for over 200 (depending on set-up), bathroom facilities, and animal stalls, the barn can transform to suit your needs.

Shelters

Park shelters are the perfect spot for reunions, receptions and picnics!

The park is home to seven (7) picnic shelters, all of which have water and electricity. Reservations are for full day use from 8:00AM to dark. Site capacity and amenities vary between shelters, as does proximity to bathrooms, pool or playground.

Most shelters have a limited number of barbecues available for use during your rental. If you need additional cooking capacity you are welcome to bring your own self-contained BBQ unit into the park.

Pavilion

A convenient picnic spot with great amenities for larger groups.

The pavilion area under the Main Building is a favorite spot for large reunions with 20 picnic tables. The area has doors on three sides for great airflow and has easy access to bathrooms, pool and playground areas. The pavilion includes a kitchenette and a large grill.

Main Building

The perfect venue for meetings, dinners or overnight retreats.

The park’s Main Building has two rooms with seating for up to 250 people for dinners or meetings and includes complete kitchen facilities. Downstairs offers dorm rooms that can accommodate up to 100 for overnight camps or retreats.

Lodge dormitory area – Accommodates 100 overnight guests

Rental of the entire upstairs includes deck overlooking the pool with rear entrance for easy access.

Entire Main Building with Dormitory Area rental for group overnights includes kitchen access.

Party Tent

Host your party or reunion in the cool shade of our large party tent.

The Doddridge County Park has a newly purchased 30 x 60 tent. Seating is dependent on how the tables are laid out but can range up to 200. Park staff will setup and remove tent. Tables and chairs are included in the rental fee, but set-up and take down of these items is the responsibility of the renter.

Park staff will setup and remove tent before and after event. The Park provides 8’ folding tables and metal folding chairs as part of the rental cost.

There’s so much to do, you really should spend the night!

Our recently upgraded Lone Pine Campground includes an RV Park, tent sites and three yurts for overnight stays, as well as a camp store, bathhouse, and covered patio featuring a fireplace and television.
